LOWGLOW One-Year Warranty
Section 1 — General Warranty
Subsection 1
At LOWGLOW, we stand behind the quality of our products. All LOWGLOW Underglow Kits, Ambient Lighting Kits, and Cosmic Starlight Headliner Kits are covered by a 1 year warranty from the original date of purchase.
Subsection 2
This warranty covers components that are proven to be defective or faulty as a result of a manufacturing defect or premature component failure under normal, intended use.
Subsection 3
The warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from improper installation, misuse, modification, accidents, physical damage, incorrect wiring, improper power connections, or other circumstances outside of LOWGLOW’s control.
Subsection 4
Warranty coverage applies only to the defective component. When possible, individual components will be replaced rather than replacing the complete kit.
Section 2 — LOWGLOW Underglow Kit
Subsection 1
Our Underglow Kits are designed for exterior automotive use and include components intended to withstand normal driving conditions when properly installed.
Subsection 2 — Examples of what IS covered:
- An LED strip develops a section of LEDs that no longer illuminate despite having no visible physical damage.
- An LED strip begins displaying incorrect colors due to an internal component failure.
- The included controller stops functioning under normal use.
- An included wiring component, connector, or switch fails due to a manufacturing defect.
- An LED strip experiences an internal electrical failure despite being properly mounted, connected, and used.
- A component is found to be defective upon initial installation.
Subsection 3 — Examples of what IS NOT covered:
- LED strips that have been cut, punctured, crushed, scraped, torn, excessively bent, or otherwise physically damaged.
- Damage caused by the vehicle bottoming out, road debris, curbs, speed bumps, jacks, lifts, accidents, or other impacts.
- Damage caused by improper placement or mounting of the LED strips.
- Damage caused by exhaust heat, engine heat, or installation near another excessive heat source.
- Wiring that has been cut, pinched, pulled, improperly spliced, or incorrectly connected.
- Damage caused by connecting the kit to an incorrect voltage or power source.
- Damage caused by bypassing, removing, or incorrectly installing required electrical protection.
- Water intrusion resulting from a damaged, cut, modified, or improperly installed component.
- Damage caused by pressure washing components at excessively close range or otherwise exposing the system to conditions beyond its intended use.
- Damage caused by modifications to the kit or the use of incompatible third party components.
Subsection 4
Normal wear and tear from regular vehicle use is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Section 3 — LOWGLOW Ambient Lighting Kit
Subsection 1
Our Ambient Lighting Kits are universal products and require proper installation, routing, trimming, wiring, and placement for reliable operation.
Subsection 2 — Examples of what IS covered:
- An LED strip or lighting section stops illuminating under normal use without signs of installation or physical damage.
- A section displays incorrect colors due to an internal failure.
- The included controller fails during normal operation.
- An included electrical component fails due to a manufacturing defect.
- A component is defective before or during its initial installation.
- An LED strip experiences an internal failure despite being correctly installed and powered.
Subsection 3 — Examples of what IS NOT covered:
- Damage caused while removing or reinstalling interior panels.
- LED strips that are cut incorrectly or damaged while being trimmed to size.
- Damage caused by excessive bending, folding, stretching, pinching, or forcing the lighting into an unsuitable location.
- Wiring damaged by screws, clips, trim panels, seat rails, hinges, or other moving components.
- Damage caused by tapping into an incorrect circuit, incorrect voltage, poor ground, reverse polarity, or another improper electrical connection.
- Damage caused by improper fuse installation or electrical modifications.
- Damage resulting from incorrect installation inside doors, dashboards, center consoles, or other interior panels.
- Adhesive, mounting, or fitment issues caused by dirty, improperly prepared, or unsuitable installation surfaces.
- Damage caused by disassembly, modification, or use with incompatible third-party controllers or electrical components.
Subsection 4
Because the Ambient Lighting Kit is universal, vehicle specific fitment and installation challenges are not considered product defects.

Subsection 1
Our Cosmic Starlight Headliner Kits contain lighting, fiber optic, controller, and electrical components that must be handled and installed carefully.
Subsection 2 — Examples of what IS covered:

- The controller fails to properly control the lighting due to a hardware defect.
- An included electrical component fails prematurely under normal operating conditions.
- A component arrives defective or fails during initial testing before installation.
- The lighting unit fails despite receiving the correct power and being properly installed.
Subsection 3 — Examples of what IS NOT covered:
- Fiber optic strands that are cut too short, broken, kinked, crushed, melted, pulled out, or otherwise damaged during installation.
- Damage caused while removing, modifying, reinstalling, or handling the vehicle’s headliner.
- Damage caused by glue, excessive heat, incorrect adhesives, or improper installation techniques.
- Damage caused by incorrectly routing or securing fiber optic strands.
- Damage caused by cutting, drilling, piercing, or modifying components of the kit.
- Damage caused by improper wiring, incorrect voltage, poor grounding, reverse polarity, or incorrect power connections.
- Damage caused by pinched wiring or components during headliner reinstallation.
- Damage caused by modifications or incompatible third party components.
- Cosmetic installation results, including fiber placement, pattern, spacing, or headliner appearance.

Section 5 — Warranty Claims
Subsection 1
If you believe a LOWGLOW product or component is defective, please contact LOWGLOW within the one year warranty period.

To process a warranty claim, we may require:
- Your original order number or other proof of purchase.
- Photos and/or videos clearly showing the issue.
- Photos of the installation, wiring, connections, or affected component.
- Troubleshooting steps requested by LOWGLOW.
- Additional information reasonably necessary to determine the cause of the failure.
Subsection 3
Submitting a warranty claim does not automatically guarantee replacement. LOWGLOW reserves the right to inspect, troubleshoot, and determine whether the reported failure qualifies as a manufacturing defect under this warranty.
Subsection 4
If a component is determined to be defective and covered by this warranty, LOWGLOW may, at its discretion, repair the component, replace the defective component, or provide another appropriate warranty remedy.
Subsection 5
LOWGLOW may require the defective component to be returned before a replacement is issued.
Section 6 — Installation & Labor
Subsection 1
LOWGLOW products may be installed by the customer or by a third party installer. However, professional installation does not automatically make installation related damage eligible for warranty coverage.
Subsection 2
LOWGLOW is not responsible for installation charges, diagnostic charges, removal or reinstallation costs, vehicle repairs, lost time, or other labor expenses associated with installing, troubleshooting, removing, or replacing a LOWGLOW product.
Subsection 3
If a product was installed by a third party installer and the failure was caused by the installation, the issue must be addressed with the installer.
